Rental Property – Share house
You might choose to rent a room in a house that is already occupied by other students – this is called a shared house. In a share house, a weekly rent is charged for a furnished or unfurnished room in an apartment or house.
Rental property – Independent
You might choose to rent your own house or apartment and this can be done either direct with an owner or through a property agent. You generally need to supply your own furniture and a tenancy agreement must be signed stating that you will pay to live in the property for a minimum of six months.
