Overview

Learn skills in technical drawing using computer assisted drafting systems such as CAD 3D, Revit and Inventor. In this course you will be drafting plans and creating detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects such as roads, railways, bridges and buildings. You will also oversee the construction of your plans, providing experience in the practical skills required to work competently as a civil engineering draftsperson.

Pre-requisites

English language requirements: IELTS 5.5 (with no individual band less than 5.0) or equivalent, or Site Institute pre-admission test at Level 4.

Pathways

This diploma prepares students for careers as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson, Engineering Designer or Structural Engineering Technician. Completion of this diploma can provide you with a pathway into a Bachelor’s degree at leading Australian universities.
